“Osborne Energy demonstrated a sound grasp of social value principles and understood the importance of making and delivering social value commitments to those living in and working with Hyde’s customers and communities. Cally and the team followed due process with regards to submitting monthly returns, and communication during the contract was regular and consistent. Any potential issues were headed off with timely discussions and prompt action.
In spite of the relatively short contract, Osborne supported a number of small projects contributing to the well-being of older people. Osborne also invested in upskilling a young, Hyde surveyor, supporting his career aspirations by sponsoring his level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination, mentoring and guiding him and facilitating a DEA course place for him.
