Retrofit Assessments

Prior to undertaking retrofit work at a property, a Retrofit Assessment should be carried out to understand what measures are required to improve the energy efficiency of the property.

A Retrofit Assessment must be carried out by a fully qualified Retrofit Assessor. A Retrofit Assessor is a professional who inspects existing buildings and homes to determine the best way to make them more energy efficient.

A Retrofit Assessment will take approx. 1-2hours to complete and the results of the assessment will include a comprehensive report which comprises of three core elements, the current energy rating, an occupancy assessment and the property condition.

The Retrofit Assessment will also include the information needed to make an informed decision about the potential steps to take to make a property more energy-efficient.
